I ordered the goat ghee biryani and a butter chicken. The curry came with a free butter naan. They also serve complimentary chai. Everything tasted delicious, but as someone with a low spice tolerance, to warn the people with low spice tolerance, the biryani is a bit spicy. Service was pretty good, things came out relatively promptly. I went to the restaurant later in the evening (around 9 PM) and they were still processing a ton of orders. Overall environment is it's pretty clean and comfortable to eat there, there's a lot of space inside the restaurant. Parking is good too.

Great place with amazing service! I visit about once or twice a week, and my go-to order is always the Goat Ghee Roast Biryani--absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

First time trying Indian buffet and there were plenty of dishes to try. Writing out some of the dishes for other newcomers -- hopefully this helps. Pulihora - spices, lentils, peanuts, and sour ingredient (ex: tamarind, lemon, or green mango) mixed with rice and tumeric Phool Makhana - lotus seed curry Rasam - tamarind, tomato, spices and herbs in soup Sambar - lentils, tamarind, herbs, spices, and sambar powder mixed into vegetable stew Dal - lentil stew Ask staff from naan and/or dosa. There is also a dessert table on the side with fruits, pudding, and pani puri water. For $17.95, the price is very reasonable and you can try so many different dishes. Around 10 tables in the restaurant so wasn't too packed on a Friday lunch. Would recommend!

This is the old swaget. The OG of indian food in milpitas. Now its either rebranded or new owner There is slight difference in food selection, but I have not been here in ages. Just decided to get some indian food for lunch. Buffet is always better deal than Ala cart take out. U r just force to eat more in one sitting ... Price was good 17.95 + tax. $20 for lunch Buffet. I tip $1. $21 cash. It's Buffet. U don't need to tip. 1st plate. Some biryani with veggie curry.. one tandoori chicken drumstick 2nd plate. Ask for Naan. They don't have Naan at the Buffet area. Looks to be made on demand. Or perhaps I was there late so they just make it when I request. Had chicken curry. 3rd plate goat curry with more Naan I am tko. Normally, I think one plate and I be good. But since it's Buffet. I did 2 orders of Naan. Thr chicken curry is better with Naan. The goat curry would be better with basmani rice. But in a Buffet I don't eat rice. Overall a good deal and very clean place. I was the only customer there at 2:30pm I think the lunch buffet ends at 3pm I will try to visit more. But I just don't eat that much anymore to do Buffet. Perhaps i will do takeout next time.

We came here for the lunch buffet on a Saturday, and were really pleased with how fresh everything was. They had tons of options from curries to biryanis. Usually biryani is way too spicy for me, but the way they prepared it here is perfect!! We'll definitely be back! Lunch buffet on the weekend also comes with a free drink, which we felt was a nice gesture

They continue to be the best place for biryani!!! We got their Black Forest pastry and Soya chaap this time in addition to our favourite ghee paneer biryani and they were both delicious! Black Forest reminded me of the pastries I used to get from McRennett back home in Chennai :)

Ordering for takeout in advance was easy online, with a reasonable 20 minute quoted wait time (I arrived 5 minutes early and my order was ready). Got the butter chicken with butter naan, and it had the perfect level of spice with a hint of sweetness, and lots of chunks of tender chicken mixed in with the curry. Also got the egg fried rice, a single order was large enough to probably get 4 meals out of this. It had such a nice balance of ingredients (egg, carrots, onions), and it wasn't oily or overspiced. I was impressed. Delicious food, friendly and professional service, great value, and a clean and casual restaurant with ample seating for those looking to dine in. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot too.

Ordered the Goat Ghee Roast biryani and Mixed Meat Biryani. The Mixed meat consisted of shrimp, chicken, and lamb. Everything was super flavorful and spicy. The portion size was large as well, definitely great value. The Goat Ghee was super tender, buttery, and was well complemented with the peanut sauce. Can't really think of anything else to say, brain is suffering from a massive food coma. Will definitely be coming here again.
